Agenda: The Materiality of Magic

Peter Forshaw will be speaking on the 3-day symposium 'The Materiality of Magic', about Amulets, Seals and Talismans in Early Modern Europe. The symposium starts wednesday evening, and focusses on the material objects in which magical knowledge beacame enshrined, such as lead, stone, gems and papyrus.
