HHP has been working with the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica (situated in the Embassy of the Free Mind) to create the Infinite Fire Webinar (IFW) series: a collection of expert lectures on esotericism freely available online. By pooling our resources—the BPH’s treasure trove of rare esoteric books and manuscripts, and the HHP’s academic expertise—the webinars open a unique window into the world of esotericism.
Researchers at HHP were asked to select books from the collection and use these as a basis for their lectures. The webinars thus give a ‘sneak peek’ into the rare material of the BPH, while providing accessible introductions to some obscure but fascinating works and to the field of esotericism at large. The webinars also give some idea of what teaching and research in the HHP subdepartment is all about. So, if you are a prospective student, a colleague wondering what we are up to, or simply interested in the topic, feel free to view the videos of the Infinite Fire Webinar series provided on these pages. More videos will be posted as they become available.
Curious to know more? See what three of our staff members say in their introductory videos for the Infinite Fire Webinars, and why they find the BPH so important.
